Miller Technology High School are currently redesigning their Aboriginal garden. As part of the process, we worked with indigenous students to see how they would like to transform it. Many of them spoke about wanting to create a space for smoking ceremonies, totems and native plants. Here are some of the designs they developed:
Last term, year 7 students created a series of spooky film clips by designing their own masks and using blacklights. They then developed their own “silent movies” by moving and responding to a creepy soundtrack. Here are some screen shots from the footage they developed:
As part of the Refill program, year 7 students experimented with costumes, green screening and using software ‘MimoLive’ to apply effects to their footage in real time. Here are screenshots from the videos they created.
